We seek talented Business Development Manager - Global Forwarding (SeaFreight ) to contribute to the impactful transformation of logistics services and technology. You will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and shaping its future. This position involves strategic planning, direct communication with C-level executives and founders, and a hands-on approach to market analysis, partnership development, and team leadership.

Skypace is the tech division of Maxton Shipping Inc., a freight forwarder headquartered in California and represented worldwide. We launched the world’s first BCO-facing shipping platform that connects our branches, vendors, and customers in the same tech environment. 

The platform enables the full cycle of freight execution from instant quoting and planning to managing shipments with complete process visibility and is directly integrated with top-10 ocean carriers like MSC, Maersk, CMA CGM, COSCO, and Hapag-Lloyd, operating across all major trade lanes.

Compensation: 

This position offers a competitive base salary starting at $140,000, plus 20% commission on GP (no cap) for two years, providing strong earning potential tied directly to your performance.

What you will do:

  • Develop and grow sales in the polymers sector, leveraging existing and new contacts in logistics and trade;
  • Manage your customer portfolio through our platform and ensure consistent service delivery;
  • Introduce clients to Skypace freight services on key global trade lanes;
  • Coordinate with internal pricing and operations teams to ensure accurate quotations and smooth shipment execution.

You’re a fit if:

  • You have an existing portfolio of clients in international freight forwarding, ideally in polymers or related commodities;
  • You are experienced in managing customer relationships across import, export, or port-to-port operations;
  • You’re comfortable working independently in a remote role with both base salary and performance-based commission;
  • You are familiar with key ocean trade lanes and can communicate effectively with shippers, BCOs, and logistics stakeholders.
